• Writing Assessment~Day 2

We continued with the Brainstorming step of the writing process today. This is an IN CLASS project but it would help if you talked with Mom and Dad about what we are working on and what kinds of things you are writing. Tomorrow we will begin organizing our writing and starting our Rough Drafts.

• Evaluación de escritura-día 2

Continuamos econ el paso de lluvia de ideas el el proceso de escriutra. Este es un proyecto EN CLASE pero sería de mucha ayuda hablar con mamá y papá sobre lo qu estamos trabajando y sobre que clase de cosas estamos escribiendo. Mañana empezaremos a organizar nuestro escrito y espezaremos con nuestro primer borrador.

• October Homework Calendar

Show your calendar to Mom and Dad and talk about what you need to do at home to get a stamp everyday at school. How can you change to be more responsible with your homework to get stamps everday for the month of November? Bring your Octoboer homework calendar back to school TOMORROW with Mom or Dad´s signature on the bottom. This will tell Miss Jill that you and your parents talked about the homework calendar and how you can be more responsible with your homework.

Muestrale a mamá y papá tu calendario y habla con ellos sobre lo que necesitas hacer en casa para obtener un sello todos los días en el colegio. Como puedes cambiar para ser mas responsable con tu tarea y obtener sellos todos los días en el mes de noviembre? Trae tu calendario de tareas de obtubre MAÑANA al colegio con la firma de mamá o papá en la parte de abajo. Esto le dirá a Miss Jill que tu y tus papas hablaron sobre el calendario de tareas y sobre como puedes ser mas responsable con estas.

• What is Responsibility?

With the Elementary Values and Vision committee, our students are working to learn more about responsibility and what that means in our everyday lives. Today we wrote a definition of what we think responsibility means to us. These writings will be posted in the elementary hallway next to the "Responsibility" poster. Please stop and read what our friends in 2B wrote about responsibility.

Con el comité de Valores, nuestros estudiantes estan aprendiendo mas sobre responsabilidad y sobre lo que esto significa todos los días en nuestras vidas. Hoy escribimos una definición de lo que responsabilidad significa para nosotros. Estas cosas serán publicadas en el pasillo de primaria en la cartelera de ¨Responsabilidad¨. Our garden is continuing to grow! Thanks to all of our hard work we are beginning to see some fruits growing! Each day we are watering, caring for and watching our plants grow! Great work 2B families!
